The connection between the xt:Commerce shop and the Rakuten shopping portal is made possible by the xt:MultiConnect interface, which is integrated into your online shop. xt:MultiConnect is based on the widely-used magnalister interface. This free offer is, at first, limited to one year and is aimed any xt:Commerce seller who is registering for the first time with Rakuten.
As an essential part of multi-channel marketing, xt:MultiConnect connects your web shop to marketplaces like eBay, Amazon or MeinPaket.de.
Sellers have the flexibility to upload either single products or entire categories to the different marketplaces. When an item is sold on a marketplace, xt:MultiConnect synchronises the important information automatically with the shop and processes the order further. Important processes such as stock and price changes are automatically monitored and updated constantly through the interface. Billing and order management can take place through the shop, or through optional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
